During our meet at the brawlers guild,Tobias X alerted me that Shraanov, Shraan's boy, is the rogue orc's next target. I raced as fast I could to Northshire..! The boy was on duty and was reluctant to leave since he was on duty, but I managed to scoop him up and fly the hell away from there.
I wanted to protect him from the truth, but he needed to know...he was, after all, a paladin. I told him he was a target and that he needed to stay with me and to remove himself from his duties at Northshire. Shraanov grew upset, understandably so, because he has already waited enough..
The boy told me worgs wander into Northshire. He told showed me that he tamed a worg pup, following my guidance. To not hurt defenseless creatures....then he dismissed the pup, told him to leave. He showed me his elekk plush, named Elexander...he said Elex never fails him. He doesn't leave him, he can't die nor disappoint him. I apologized profusely..I even grew quite emotional. Because if he didn't listen to me..if I just let him go back to his duties, that would be the same as sending him to his death.
And thats what happened.
Even though I walked the boy to the boat to Exodar and saw him off, Shraanov returned to the fight. Shraan told me he couldn't find him at the Exodar, he asked where he was... I was too late. I got there too late. Shraanov had picked up his once discarded armor from the moat and went back into the fray.
Redemption would not work. I could not resurrect him, it had been too long. I was too late...It was then I lost my head. I went on a rampage and killed every orc I saw. Except the one responsible, snickering at me, the rogue orc.
Shraan soon arrived....his anger was of course even more intense than my own. He too went on an orc killing rampage. He smacked me. Blaming me for Shraanov's death. He soon recovered. And he took Shraan's body to Stormwind.
It was there Psalmodius did his best to revive him...but to no avail....
